I have a HP Vectra VEi 7 with the Celeron 533 MHz processor. I have upgraded to 512MB of RAM and a 80GB HDD. The rest of the system is stock. It has the SiS 620 Chipset and the Crystal Integrated PCI Audio using the CS4280 controller and CS4297 Audio Codec '97.

I can get OPL to work in DOS with CWCDOS.EXE but when I try to use Digital Audio (which the card should be SBPro Compatible) it is delayed by about 30 seconds-1 minute and stutters. This is most apparent in NASCAR Racing (1994). It also happens in DOOM, but if I change the sound card to Adlib Compatible, it plays just fine. The Adlib option does not work in NASCAR Racing. I want to get this working in DOS Mode, Windows appears to work okay. I can't seem to disable the onboard sound, but I am open to any suggestions, as I can install a Sound Blaster Live (PCI CT4830).
