So while looking for some possible further upgrade tweaks for my valuepoint I got to pondering the question if anyone ever made any kind of combination dial up modem / network interface cards regardless if they were ISA, PCI or whatever. From some googling my feeling is the answer is 'no'. But I figured I would ask if anyone had ever seen such a thing that just never really got much mentions on the current internet. Given we can find modem/sound card combinations, it just got my curious for an answer.

So anyone got input on this one way or another?

Interesting! I assumed there probably was a niche area for combo card for laptops i was not aware of desktop cards that took pcmcia cards though i guess for desktops those to me dont count as they were just adaptors letting yo uuse laptop stuff. Ok so let me refine this query then, were there any such combinations for desktops that werent adaptors?
