Win98 installer didn't want to start from FDD but I copied installer from CD on HDD and ran from DOS that got installed by format C /s. 😁 Installation almost done. I put Voodoo 3 2000 in it and SB16. 😀

Don´t forget to install the VIA 4in1-driver.

Sorry to post to this extremely old topic but does anybody have soggi's modified BIOS for the DFI K6XV3+/66 (rev B2) ?

I'm hoping it allows disabling of ACPI to free IRQ 2 for PCMIDI/Orpheus 2.

Also, what is the VIA 4-in-1 driver mentioned here?

Have a look here quite at the bottom:

It´s the VIA chipset / AGP driver and it should be installed right after the OS.
...and don´t choose a (too) late version, in most cases one of the earlier versions ist best for performance and stability.

Upload bios as a zip

I will upload it to my website when there's a DFI page or/and even a DFI K6XV3+ specification page (and maybe I did some more modification). I won't upload it here for several reasons, one is the possibility to brick the board.

I checked for the latest bios but as I can see the Soggi medified version is the best way to go.
But I cannot find the link or that version.
Can anybody help me with that please 😀

According to the sitemap Soggi never uploaded it so you will have to send a message to them directly, and accept the risk of a modified bios
