I've fallen in love with an IBM model M keyboard, but I can't use it to bring up File Explorer nor Game Bar in Windows 10.

Is there an alternative way to use these and other shortcuts besides connecting a second keyboard?

I tried a Griffin Powermate, but it doesn't want to send that keystroke either.

That still works, but not in combination with other keys for shortcuts. 🙁

I would say just get used to it. You will find other ways around to start programs.

I think I have only one or two keyboards with windows keys and none of them is used every day. Have been using the same keyboards from around 1990 since they were new and still use them every day.

My Laser XT keyboard had no Windows key but it had some other unusual key that seemed to be redundant. I used a program to remap that into a Windows key. I think the program was KeyTweak, maybe it works on Win10 who knows...

You could buy a model M from Unicomp that does have the Windows key.
