The M519 is the PCChips motherboard known to be really slow due to its Opti Viper M chipset, when using this motherboard without jumpers for selecting the FSB the clock generator works in a test mode where the CPU clock is TCLK/2 = 14.318MHz/2 = 7.159 MHz.

When in this mode although really slow, the computer boots but the keyboard doesn't work and a keyboard controller error is shown in the screen, i asume that it is because the clock is too slow for the keyboard controller?.

The keyboard controller is a Holtek HT6542B, the datasheet states that its operating frequency is between 6 and 12 MHz.

Does anyone know how to make the keyboard work?
