Yeah, thats what I did. I have used a universal usb memory stick driver so every stick would work by default even if it is a 128gb usb3.0 memory stick.
No problems at all,besides the slow transfer rates.
Works like a charm

Yeah ideally 1,5 MB / sec.
It is rated for 12Mbit, I mostly get 1,3MB/sec.
