Hello everyone
I found this board a couple of weeks back and the chips that are on it seem very interesting, which got me intrigued on finding out where it could have come from.
First, there is a Toshiba Z80 CPU along with a Z84 DMA controller with 3 EPROMs surrounding the CPU. Next to those there are 2 15ns SRAM chips, identical to those used for cache on 486 boards. But what makes this most interesting is that there seem to be 2 NEC made microcontrollers, namely the D8049HC and D8749HD

There are no obvious marks on the board other than a Sharp logo with "MIE V" text on the PCB and the code X19 76SC-71 Silkscreened on.

If anyone has any idea where this board could have come from, please let me know.

A printer cpu/control board ?? Have a old HP Laser printer board that is similar.

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

The clock freq on it suggests it came from a copier or a fax machine.
