Title says it all. I found this laptop at a recycle center in seemingly fairly good shape besides being very dirty. It's an interesting machine, with a very nice keyboard and a massive battery.

The AC adapter, however, which I do not have, is some proprietary thing that connects to the back of the battery: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/324530/Epso … ?page=31#manual

I have no idea what the pinout is. Very hard to find any information on this thing on the web. Can't find one on eBay.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these or what the pinout is for it, so I can build one myself?

I'm a little worried there's some kind of "smart" charging circuitry in there that I can't replicate.

Opened it up and found that the pins on the motherboard are labeled:

LOW
+5v
GND
+12v
GND
+12v

Forgive my ignorance, but does “LOW” mean something other than a low battery signal from the battery? (The battery connects to the motherboard and the AC adapter connects through the battery)

Previous page says: if status indicator bar starts flashing save all your work and power off...so yeah my guess is a low power sensor. Cannot think of any other use for something like that from that era.
added: somewhere in my stack o crap have an xbox?? psu that was used for a very similar rigged setup, it had 12v+ and 5v+ lines and long enough brick to unit cord to cut and alter...

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun
