So I have two cards in SLI, and when I look at the system info, it doesn’t appear to be what I thought it was, or should be.

Any chance somebody could tell me if this is right? See image.
Total Texture Memory... 6MB? I've seen other places that x2 12MB in SLI shows 8MB.

Yes for a pair of 12MB cards you should be getting 8MB for Frame Buffer Memory and 16MB for Total Texture Memory.
More importantly are you able to run a game at 1024x768? maybe it's just a graphical error.

I started thing about this SLI setup… process of elimination. What does it look like when each card runs separately.

The first card I test was the Creative Labs.
System Info shows… Total Texture Memory is 8MB

This tells me there is something wrong with the V2 Card. Under close examination, I cannot see any physical damage. So now I'm not sure if it's really a 12MB or not.

The current drivers installed on this Windows98SE is 3dfxzone.it FastVoodoo2 4.6

I just compared the two cards and the Diamond has something different, not sure it’s part of this issue.

A resister is in place. Do other Diamond 12MB cards have this?

Dang it... I'm stumped as to why it's not working properly.

If you'd post good pictures of the cards (front and back) maybe some member can spot a physical defect that's easy to repair?
