does anyone knows on Compact flash cards that works on the Toshiba Portege 300CT or Toshiba Portege 320CT?

thats true they both the same anyways only difference is the cpu and the chipset, but do you have the 300ct model or the 320ct model?

but also does it is better to use hard drive or a compact flash for the toshiba portage 300ct or 320ct and for win98 se?

Im a big fan of CF less noise and faster, but less capacity and expensive

win95 works great in Cf cards i use my 320 for years with a 16GB and still works peefect

remember too, the 300/320 have the hdd in the corner and is not easy to put a CF>IDE

I think the best is you buy something like this

No idea bios limit, but anyways, if for some reason bios limit to 32gb, you can use ezdrive or similar overlay,that support up to 137gb

okay, but the reason i asked you this quistion is because im thanking on buying 120gb sata m.2 ssd with ide adapter, and the 120gb is the smallest and cheapst i can find in my store, is it a good idea for storge for retro laptops like this? if it is cheap

The ideal is a 16/32GB CF card with ide addapter,100% guaranteed to work, but if a SATA SSD fits and the SATA>IDE converter works fine, no problem, but is a hit and miss, i dont think nobody knows until test
