I have this 386 motherboard that is in pristine physical condition.
Everything seems to be all right with it except that no local storage devices (HDDs, CF cards) get recognized.
I am using trusted components that work just fine in all other cases.
Tried few different BIOSes from working mobos with the same OPTi SX chipset - same problem.
Issue is present regardless of base frequency, CPU, presence/absence of L2 cache.
Any idea how to approach this ?

Check the solder joints of the chipset chips facing the isa slots. Reflow them if needed.

Yes, reflowing is in order.
Wanted to get some feedback before i start baking the PCB in case i am missing non-physically invasive options.
