Hi there,
As the Epox awaits parts id and repair. Seems like it was the PLL power supply transistor that went boohoo.
Next in line for repair was a Asrock K7S8X rev 3.01.

No post, just three beeps. Replaced all caps, still the same.
Three beeps, hmm. RAM? tried different modules, no dice.
Measured DDR VDD, and sure enough it was 1.2V instead of 2.6V.

I can't wing this, I need a schematic to get around it. Elektrotanya has a schematic for rev 1.02, but it is way too different to work with this.

Anyone got any bright ideas?

Nice catch! How embarassing! Although, all boards I've recapped until now (four or five) have had the white as negative. BUT! they hade a small + for the positive side as well. Confusing to say the least!

Well, it still gives the same DE C8 as it gave before the recap (and yes, I replaced all - again).

Got it to show C8C4 once.

RAM voltage is still at 1,2V.. so still looking for a schematic. The rev 1 board is way too different compared to this.
