So I got this motherboard from someone who did not test it, so it might as well be dead. But I cannot for the life of me get this thing to post, maybe I have not followed the jumper settings correctly because the only manual I could find was here https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/spring … 6-rev.-p2c#docs. I've got some FPM ram like the motherboard calls for and some others to spare if it hates them. I've got an Intel DX4 clocked at 100mhz, and it supports write through cache. It's been kicked around a few drawers so it might also be dead, I'll have to source another one to test because I honestly don't know if it still works. There are some jumpers for specific CPUs and cache settings and I've tried leaving them open and nothing still, but one of my main grievances with this board is that not all of the jumpers have numbers next to them so I'm not even sure if what I put down is what the manual says. I've got some photos if someone thinks that they can comprehend my dilemma.
Also on a sidenote, when I got the board the com port header had a bent pin that unfortunately snapped off when I tried to straighten it (which I can live with until I solder on a new one if the blasted thing works), PPS the more important sidenote that makes me livid is that the BIOS EPROM had a pin that was crumpled into the socket I carefully straightened it back out but the board might be toast because of that.
