Hey, long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm building a "new" retro PC to recapture the glory days of the 90's.
Back then, I ordered an awesome front panel port extension thingy from https://www.frontx.com/, and it was the coolest thing ever.
There are very few beige front panel port extensions on the market these days, and none are really aimed at retro ports. But these are super customizable. All different kinds of old port style with both external and internal connections.
I googled it just to see if someone was selling a used one I could snatch up, and I was amazed to see the site was still up. I emailed them asking if they're actually still in business, and I got a reply almost instantly that they are.
Anyway, just ordered a bunch of stuff from them.
If anyone is curious, I'll post an update when it arrives. But the one I had back in the day was really solid quality.
I can't find them mentioned on Vogons, but if they're the same company and product they were, I fully recommend them for anyone looking for ports on the front of their retro PC.
Anyway, just psyched and wanted to share 😀
