My LCD monitor displays its image at 75Hz when testing Windows games using a Voodoo5 card in Win98SE. The "General Adapter information" inside Control Panel->Display is specifically set to 60Hz, but when I run some games (eg Deus Ex or Mysteries of the Sith), the Hz value is automatically increased to 75. This is annoying, because my LG 19" LCD monitor displays a poorer and less sharp looking image at 75Hz. Can I force a Windows game to display its image at 60Hz? Thanks for any advice.

Excellent, thanks very much. I have just tested RefreshLock (not tried dxdiag yet), and I can successfully get games to be displayed at 60Hz. This improves the general image quality.
