there is a way to emulate an old cga monitor on xp desktop?

if i change gamma of colors of my video card?

Not exactly sure what you want to do.

Dosbox allows you to emulate software that uses CGA ... along with all it's eye-cancery goodness.

i want see like a real cga monitor on my real monitor and not in emulator!i'm nostalgic!!!

Actually a real CGA monitor emulator would be pretty interesting. And I don't mean like what DOSBox does, but one that specifically tries to imitate the exact workings of a CGA monitor, complete with afterglow, potentiometers and signal interference.

But to answer your question, no, it's not possible.

Guys, wasnt CGA like... 4 colors and all 4 of them purple? Not counting black/white... ?

Seems very nice, but it's too expensive!

I think cga was able to use 2 palettes. One with the black/white/cyan/magenta and another with black/red/green/yellow. And also there is an other way that you can have 16 colors, like the amstrad 1512/1640.

gasp!i see it inthe past!it soo expensive!!

i will connect to a tv...however in dosbox can emu the cga..

Those are LCD panels...no crt afterglow and I wonder what resolution they support. It's a FAAAAKKKE 😁
