Got an IBM ValuePoint MOBO in from Canada yesterday. I brought it to life once but it then only gave 201 errors and then nothing at all. I bought some 1MB SIMMs today and will try again later this week. 😵

I tried with a CR2032 and 4X 1MB SIMMs from an Everex that died on me (on MOBO HDD/FDD controllers are dead).

Good luck finding RAM for it... it only takes certain IBM modules.

Thanks! I will look for the OEM SIMMs. 😀 I do not have the equipment or skills to solder. 😀

Now I just need to find these SIMMs. 😊 Already sent a message to someone in Italy who is selling them as a part of a larger lot of SIMMs. 😀 Also found some on eBay USA under a different part #. We shall wait and see. 😈

Actually, these CT16x0 cards are pretty easy to source on Ebay (US) and are very affordable.

There is an ebay seller by the name of SunnKing that seems to have quite a few sound cards. Other than that, I just have saved eBay searches for the known Sound Blaster Pro 2.0 model numbers.

haven't bought much in a while but I snagged this little gem: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111224859281

Its identical to the MFM version the seagate 157A, except for the connector. The 'L" versions of these drives were for the IBM PS/2 model 25 & 30. Hopefully this will replace the 20mb drive I have that has 8mb in bad sectors. :p The price was right, in either case.

A few, all in different stages of completeness. I think this is now my 5th - One bare CT1300A card, one incomplete CT1300B (Game Blaster) box, one complete CT1300B (Game Blaster) box, one incomplete CT1300A (Creative Music System) box, and now one complete CT1300A (Creative Music System) horribly-battered box with unopened software/manuals/card inside.

I've just completed my collection of the CT1320s (Sound Blaster 1.0/1.5) as well - I now have the CT1320A, B, C, and U variants. If you haven't seen this, it's a great read!
