Is this card DOS compatible? I read its manual and only found Windows 95/98/NT drivers as well as OS/2.
I also read it has OPL-SAX sound chip.

What is OPL-SAX?

Very good sound chip (genuine OPL3 inside, compatibility with SB Pro2/WSS, Waveheader with no hanging bug, MPU-401 etc.) from Yamaha. You can read more here: The Yamaha OPL YMF718-S chipset. Driver for DOS is also there. 😀

My card is Version 1.1. I am not yet sure which YM7xx model it is, but it will arrive next week.

It arrived, it is actually an YMF718-S model.
If i add my YMF704B-S to this card, it gets OPL4 support, right? Are there any OPL4 songs out there?

Card works fine, but when i select Synth volume (FM OPL3) i get a huge amount of noise on only right channel. Bad caps?
