I've never used a laptop for retro gaming (well, a bit of dosbox), at least not as in having a retro laptop. I do own a Dell XPS M1730 though, which I've upgraded with faster graphics cards. I've used that to play through Mass Effect 1 and 2, and endless hours of World of Warcraft back during Burning Crusades. It actually used to be my main gaming rig. Does that count? 😜
As it's a Core2duo I guess some people would rate it as retro by now, but I still count Core2 as modern hardware for sure.

WinXP : PIII 1.4GHz, 512MB RAM, 73GB SCSI HDD, Matrox Parhelia, SB Audigy 2.
Win98se : K6-3+ 500MHz, 256MB RAM, 80GB HDD, Matrox Millennium G400 MAX, Voodoo 2, SW1000XG.
DOS6.22 : Intel DX4, 64MB RAM, 1.6GB HDD, Diamond Stealth64 DRAM, GUS 1MB, SB16.

Sorry for late reply, been crazy busy. Glad to see I am not the only one who uses laptops.

The newest I play on it is Midtown Madness 2. Nranco I just use what I DL from the dell site. It's a ME driver but works fine for 98.

Do you use win98, and if so... how do you get the freaking nvidia drivers to work?

I have a P-233MMX notebook Siemens Scenic Mobile 750. Sound is SB-DOS compatible and runs W98 at the moment. I only tested it with F1GP and it runs good. Can't decide what to do with it (keep or let go - probably keep it 😉 ).

Requests are also possible... /msg kixs
