Got this card inside a machine I picked up recently. Did a google search and was able to find no shortage of them for sale, but only one post anywhere on vogons about it, and it's just a list of random cards some guy has... 😵

Seems to have DirectDraw so maybe an exciting early 3D card? I know it's based on some older Tridents which were 2D accelerators. But not much more.

Any information would be really appreciated 😀

DirectDraw is not Direct3D. The chip doesn't support any 3D, it's just a GUI accelerator. Speed should be mediocre for PCI.

Looking on wikipedia, it is stated that they were produced before they included 3D acceleration on chip. That card has some 2D acceleration, and some video acceleration... but no 3D here.

Maybe it would couple nicely with a Voodoo, but there is not much use for that card.

I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.
Sometimes going all the way is just a start...
