I recently acquired a dual-floppy AT&T PC 6300 system. I am wanting to add a hard drive to it, but rather than remove one of the floppy drives, I decided to purchase a 40MB HardCard from eBay. Having no experience with systems this old, I would like to know if there's anything special I need to do in order to get this working. Is there a specific expansion slot I'll need to install it in? Any jumper settings on the hard drive or the HardCard itself I'll need to change? The HardCard has no power connector on it that I can find, so I presume it draws its power directly from the ISA slot. Is this particular system capable of running it in this manner?
