Was wondering how overclockable this CPU is?
I have one like this and would like to overclock it to 120 MHz (40 x 3).
Does it normally run stable at this speed?

Yes, it usually does.
But it's over-clocking, so, YMMV.

If you have the CPU, just try it and see. There shouldn't be any danger with a decent heatsink.

I'd say 7 out of 10 of the DX4-100WT chips I have encountered have been running at 120MHz... Sometimes the system was even sold as featuring a 120MHz processor according to labels and receipts. Marking up was common practice by scumbag builders back when these were in the low-end market. A nearby store that no longer exists (I wonder why? I had to repair a lot of his builds for people when they stopped going to him) sold such a machine as featuring the "Enhanced AMD Am5x85-120 - Energy Saving" (or something to that effect) in this configuration.
