It brings me great sadness to report that I am giving up on this card in system. The card is in great shape. Documentation is sparse. I still do not know what JP3 does. Some programs will not work in VGA and some will not work in Hercules; it is not consistent. All dip & jumper combos have been tried. I have disabled mobo's on-board video. I will next try the TVGA 8800CS and if that does not work, I will try Diamond Flower VG-7000. Here is a pic of exact specimen (less 512k) from another thread:
