Ok,I'll let you know how it goes.
I just have to install drivers for my 8139d ethernet card first!

The realtek doesn't seem to get installed correctly no matter what I am doing.
I start to think that the D revision (8193d) is not compatible with win95.
I tried installing from CDrom and I can't finish the installation,it asks for the Win95 install disk etc.
The PC recognised the card but I have a question mark in Device Manager so I don't think I can use it.
I installed TCP/IP from Windows CD and tried reinstalling the ethernet drivers again to no avail.

I used the drivers found in this thread
Windows 95 Realtek RTL8139C network driver problems

I also tried to get 1680x1050 resolution following the guide here
http://toastytech.com/guis/miscb.html
which also didn't succeed.
I loaded my monitor settings from the monitor driver disk.
I also tried standard Plug and Play monitor.

I think that maybe my graphics card doesn't support bigger res..?
My Diamond S3 64sdram can use 60hz refresh rate but I get 1024x768 max resolution with 16 colors which isn't supported by my monitor.
So I'm stuck at 800x600..
Is there a way to check if I can get bigger res with this graphic card?

I've used RTL8193D cards even with Windows 3.11, so this should not be an issue...

When it asks for the Windows 95 install disks, either insert the disk or have a copy of the CABs in the PC (and point the installer to it).
