Hi, all

I'm using 3D Pro on my Pentium Pro machine under Windows 98SE. I have installed the Microsoft Software for that hoystick and it has a Profile Activator tool that allows you to define control schemes for various games and it can load profiles in .sw3 format. Did Microsoft ever distribute those profiles or may be there is a somewhat comprehensive user-compiled library?

Mostly need profiles for space games like Wing Commander series (I'm playing the Kilrathi Saga edition), Provateer, Descent/Freespace, X-Wing Series, MechWarrior series.

Particle Systems used to host profiles for a variety of controllers (including the SW 3D Pro) for use with Independence War, and you can still download these here:

I have a .ZIP file with SideWinder profiles that probably came from Microsoft, but it is for a very limited number of games, and none of the games you enumerated. The Logitech Wingman Team did a much better job of publishing controller profiles they created as well as user-created profiles.
