I'm trying to make my own MHz display with turbo button, that I will install into an ATX case with Baby AT motherboard. I have an exiting display from another case, but trying to figure out how this works. Is there anywhere information about 7 segment displays and using an ON/ON switch to make a similar one? How do I found out if it is a common anode or cathode display?

Apply power and test it out. Thats the only real advice here. Everything is going to be trail and error. use a 5v supply and go nuts.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Using tabbed jumpers speeds up the process.
