Hey guys
I'm building myself a 486 DX2-66 in a modern ATX case. The last thing I need to sort out is the Turbo equipment
I'm going to put a latching switch with built in LED for the Turbo Switch and Turbo LED functions into a 5.25 blanking plate, along with a S-305H LED MHz display that I picked up. According to Google my display's input comes in the form of Low - Common - High input from the Turbo switch.
I'm gonna assume that if I use Low (+) and Common (-) that the display would switch to Low settings when the switch is pushed, which should be what I want. What I'm curious about is how to wire the Turbo switch up, as it obviously also needs to go to the board. Do I just solder two sets of wires from the switch, put one set to the board and the other to the display? I'm curious if there would be any voltage issues between the two if I was to do this?
Many thanks!
