What drivers are best for the 6800 ultra agp?
I know I need to stop asking these kind of questions. But I never had an ultra, just a gt.
In thinking 97 or something.
I use 93.71 driver with mine.
What OS ?
Ultra or GT, both are using the same GPU NV40... so exactly the same drivers-wise. Which driver to use might depend on games you want to play and also your CPU - as newer drivers tends to have more overhead.

Will be using 2k and just want the best all around driver. I'll be running games from the late 90s to around 2005. Manly opengl games. And it will be used in my 604 setup.
Anyway I thought the drivers would be no different from a gt to an ultra, but I thought the ultra (some of them) used a nv45 core? Or was that the pcie cards?
I'll give 93 and 97 a try.
Both, AGP and PCI-e versions of 6800 Ultra use NV40 core.
Difference between them lies in AGP to PCI-e bridge, which is located on GPU's PCB in case of PCI-e version (AGP version doesn't need it).
