Award flasher ver. for 486 UMC 1993 bios

Hi,

I'm trying to update this mobo TK 8498F/GP 4N D24 with a bios found on this forum but I can't find a award flasher that works and uniflash would need a PCI system. For such old mainboard which software can I use to update the rom? Only one version seems to read the type of flash but crash on opcode error while the flash seems to be this: 28F010 whatever it means.
Any help?

I dont think its possible to flash in the 486 Board. Remove the Chip and Hot-Flash in your PCI system. You can most probably also use another Flash-Chip if the 28F010 is not detected.

This is a bad news, I need to check which kind of flash rom my VP3 socket 7 mobo has to flash in this way.
