I am trying to install WIN98 on an old Acer laptop. I had previously installed Linux on it.
I have tried the multi boot option, but no matter what I do, it shows this message.
Anyone know what type of error this is?

I have legacy USB support enabled in the BIOS and boot order as follows

Thanks, that worked!!

I think the HDD is dead as I am getting this error:
ata1: SRST failed, errorno=-16

Oh well, it was worth the try, I'll replace the HDD
