I feel stupid because I just went out and bought an adaptec scsi controller when I had a perfectly good card in my house already. Only thing is, I'm having trouble figuring out what exactly it is. I've been able to ID it on certain ebay auctions so I know the model number and brand: It's an "Always" BD 2001-01-2D. Like my adaptec card, it has a 50 pin hard drive connector, a floppy connector and a bunch of jumpers. Now if this card behaves like my adaptec, then I shouldn't need to load any drivers - it should have its own setup file burned into the BIOS. However I still need to toggle the jumpers to set my IRQ/DMA/Memory stuff but I can't find a schematic of this board anywhere.

Can anyone help me with the jumper settings on this board if they have one or know where the schematic may be? I would really like to use this in another old computer I have. SCSI is so nice. Thank you.

I don't know if this constitutes a lead but apparently most of the config is done in bios on boot?

Indeed it does. I will read through this and see if I can find the jumper settings but this is plenty to start with. I couldn't even find this much. Thanks.

EDIT:

Found it! The jumper settings are under the text file called "Switches". Great find! That saves me buying another controller card and will offload the CPU as well.
