I don't remember been any real trick to it?
Mine has something like this, and was as simple as pushing down and in to unlatch it.

I have the SFF the same style heatsink that Chinny linked. Im sure im missing something really simple, but when i push down on the tallest part that sticks up towards the roof of the machine it just wont detach or pull off. And that PDF sadly is different, i just cant find a manual either to help.

Nevermind, another dumby move by me. I did not realize those clips in the middle of the bracket are what you flip up. Wew. Thanks big time though guys.

Yeah i found you're thread once. Was a good read. It helped me decide to put in a faster CPU than what came with it.
