I saw this adorable little 1982 computer on ebay, and wanted it.

Thing is... what can I do with it? I don't have the external floppy drive unit, it's only connections to the outside world are HPIB and some SCISI /parallel port - looking.... port...

Does anybody have any info on this machine? It looks like a mini Mac classic.

My understanding was they were general purpose office machines. The guy pictured in the link above seems to be doing some accounts maybe? The HPIB interface seems to be found in a number of scientific devices, so I guess data logging and modelling as well. My interest in them is due to having 'dumpster dived' some external drives for this system, but I don't have the actual system unit, as it now costs a fortune to purchase.

If you have no purpose for it, then don't buy it 😊

Hey, a 200 series! These are surprisingly fun little systems, and aren't really common. Might be nice to play with.
