Could you give me a reference of chips to mount DATA SDRAM Cache up to 512 Ko ?

Thanks.

Yes the chip exists, mais it appears as 64 x 8 in the datasheet and in the manual of the motherboard, it requires 128 x 8.

64 x 8 is 512, 128 x 8 is 1024 - do you mean single bank 128 x 4?

Yes, you're right, it's 64b x 8 and not 128b x 8.

According the user's manual, it is possible to upgrade the L2 cache from 256 Ko to 512 Ko (See the manual p.14 : http://www.motherboards.org/files/manuals/47/4im_9412.pdf ).

--> Actually, 8 chips UM61256AK-15 28 pins are installed to make 256 Ko.

--> I own 8 chips UM61512AK-15 32 pins to make 512 Ko L2 cache.

The problem is the following : on the motherboard, there are 4 supports for 28 pins chip and only 4 supports for 32 pins.

Thanks for your help.
