I want to revive my old Tulip AT 386 desktop PC, but I cannot find the diagnose utility for setting up bios in English, only in Dutch. It's very annoying, I can't make the correct selections and etc.

Anyone from Netherlands who can help me?

If you look here under Files - Configurators

https://web.archive.org/web/20000528173921/ht … lip.com/support

it lists a file DIAG207E.EXE Diagnostics 2.07 for the Tulip compact serie (English)

which is included in this download http://oldcomputer.info/pc/board_other/tulipdg.7z on the MCbx Old Computer Collection site page here http://oldcomputer.info/pc/board_other/index.htm

Thank you! Thank you!

You saved me! I owe you!

No I can play with my old PC 21 years after it's withdrawal! I want to repair the plastics, they're very yellowish, I will paint them and I must replace all it's tantal capacitors...

The sad part of the story is that I cannot find it's HDD (WDC 528 MB, 07/1994) with old files dated back from mid 1980s to 1998, it's my fathers file. I have all the Word, Excel, Dbase, Professional Write and Lotus 1-2-3 files and documents to 1,2 and 1,44 floppies but I don't have my Games folder anymore.

Great!

I'm not sure you should paint any plastic though. You might want to look into retrobrighting it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retr0bright).

Personally, I (mostly) prefer to keep the yellowing. It's part of the character and history of the hardware.
