Thanks. The plastic covered one had a 3.4Ghz P4 and the Grey one a 2.8Ghz Celeron. Swapped out the Celeron mobo with the P4 one which more ram slots and was fitted with 2gig of DDR400 ram. The 40gig hdd in the grey box has a fresh install of XP on it which asks for activation. I'll fit a far larger drive and install some flavour of Linux on it. Paid $nz60. That included petrol money for the seller to drive 50km to drop it off this morning. I was really only interested in the monitor but the seller put in some other goodies as well which I thought was nice of him.😀 Threw the plastic covered case in the recycling after stripping all the components I could use on other system/projects. It came with a combo 3.5" fdd/CF/SD card unit and DCD rw drive.
There's a glitch in the matrix.

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
