I have a problem with this board and the copro (287XL): it isn't working. The board works properly without copro. The copro is ok too ( I have another 286 board to test). When I plug, the copro is detected for the mainboard, but If I run the different tests I havr ( Checkit, mcpdiag) the copro fails.

I would like to know the meaning JP2 jumper i nthe board (near the copro socket)

Does anybody has the manual for this board?

Looks like a PCCHIPS SHART Chipset

My only thought is that the board may be trying to overclock the coprocessor,

Other oddity is the 25mhz cpu with a 40mhz crystal

Could try to under clock the board and see if it works, if not your stuck with the random examination to make sure there are no broken solder joints or other flakyness
