Hi,

I've a restored Toshiba T3200SX, everything functions well.

I didn't use it during winter, and came to find it today with lost of dust fragments under what appears to be the front layer of the panel. It was stored in a garage, it doesn't appear to be mould however it can be dusty in here - the space itself is well insulated.

Since I've not gone there, does anyone know if the gas plasma panel can be taken down in layers before I strip it down? I'm assuming I can remove the front layer, clean out the crud but haven't dealt with these screens before - I appreciate they're ultra fragile.

Thanks

JB

For future reference - somehow the double sided tape that held on a thin glass/perspex sheet over the plasma had degraded over time. I was able to remove the sheet using a razor blade, dusted it out replaced the tape and all is well. Plasma screens rock.
