I've just grabbed a Gigabyte GA-5AX motherboard from eBay but it's revision 4.
I've seen on Phils Computer Lab that revision 5.2 is one of the best socket 7 motherboards, but how about revision 4?
Does anybody know the difference between revision 4 and 5.2?

Not much difference. CPU support is the same. Rev 5.2 adds ATA-66 support. I'm sure someone else knows more 😉
It's always nice to have the latest revision... but latest in this case is also very expensive.

Thanks for the information ... I just paid $75 + shipping for the revision 4 so I think it was a good deal? However, I really wanted the latest revision. Hopefully here aren't many other improvements/changes?
