But I'm gonna try the BIOS update that @Gmlb256 suggested 😀 I have an AMD-K6-2/400 😀

That's a 430TX board, it only caches 64MB of memory. Having 4 times that would actually give you worse performance.

I can drop it down to 64mb 😀
I'm still learning about "cacheable RAM/memory"? 😀

I have this NOS(new old stock) case also, it has an Amptron PM-8600A motherboard in it at the moment 😀
Can't decide if I want to put a different MB in it 😀

An AT motherboard has two 9-pin serial port connections..,
one can be used for a serial mouse.., what can I use the other one for? 😀

The other one could be disabled in the BIOS settings or used for doing a null modem connection.
