I'd recommend the Humble Store version of Bioshock. It's DRM free and it's not the remaster version like in other stores, while the retail version needs online activation.

The GOG release of BioShock includes the classic version of the game as well as the remaster.

Same for their Doom 3 release, which gives you both the BFG Edition and the original game.

The Optiplex has a decent PSU. I don't think it's absolutely necessary to replace for a 75W graphics card. Under no circumstance should this PC exceed 180W.

Oh yeah I forgot about the DRM Free version Humble has. I'll try to pick that up instead of using my retail copy.
And also, Bioshock at first is mostly just an example of like "do the specs I have in mind be able to play this game at 60fps at 1280x1024".

Also, that's good to know about the PSU. I just wasn't too sure if it was going to handle it or not so I was going to have a replacement one ready.

98SE: Optiplex GX110 / Pentium III 733 MHz /512 MB Ram / GF 6200
XP: Optiplex 7010 / i5-3570 / 4GB RAM / GTX 750ti SC
Win7/Arcade: Optiplex 7050 / i5-7500 / 16GB RAM / RX 550
Win10: Ryzen 7 5800X / 64 GB Ram / EVGA 3070

It's about the message. By buying the HS version, that is classic only, you explicitly tell them to shove the remaster where the sun don't shine 😁
