looks like a laptop board
google led me here: https://www.impactcomputers.com/index.php?rou … +Computer+6200T
"notebook computer 6200T" is not very descriptive, probably some OEM laptop sold under different brands ^^
Thank you, cannot find anything 🙂 Do you think those RAM modules can be used in graphic cards (for example ATI Rage Turbo) with RAM slot?
They're probably EDO memory specific to certain Pentium I era laptops. Before the SODIMM standard laptop RAM was whatever the manufacturer wanted it to be.
If it's from a 6200T, that might be related to the Clevo 6200AT (possibly later model) - a very nice Pentium MMX laptop with TFT screen. It's a pentium so the memory should be EDO, not usable with graphics cards. But the chips could probably be re-used potentially.
Here's what a 6200AT looks like: https://www.clous.cz/ajp-6200at/

72 pin EDO SODIMMs are a somewhat standard part.
Everything is datecoded late 95 early 96, so probably too early for it to be a MMX, BUT the memory is also from 96, and having 32 MB of ram in a laptop then seems fancy to me, so perhaps whatever cpu is on there is high-endish too. Is it directly soldered or does it sit in LIF socket?
Found Voodoo3 2000 16mb at thriftstore! Lucky find, works too. Nice in a 200-400Mhz p1/2?

Definitely. In fact, even that would benefit from the faster P2.
Found this interesting board. On the back is name Elpina, which is also manufacturer of a COAST module. Size of RAM is unknown (no stickers) and I have never seen CPU like this. I have to take one of my two working AT PSUs and test everything.

Elpina == PC Chips
That seems to be one of their 486 boards with a proprietary COAST module. Keep in mind that it's not compatible with the sticks on Pentium boards.

Very nice VIP board.

I think I had that board at one point. It was certainly the fastest 486 board that I had used (and I used to have a bunch of them).
IBM Valuepoint 486 DX4-100, Opti 802G, 50 MHz FSB, Voodoo1+S3 864, Quantum Fireball EX 4.0 GB, Seagate Medalist 1.6 GB, 128 MB FPM, 256k L2
Yesterday I re-wired my whole audio & MIDI retro setup, which required me to move a room full of junk to the living room. Fortunately SO and children are off at an attraction park for the weekend so nobody noticed - but only if I cleaned it up this evening. So spend hours sorting, tidying up, cleaning up and throwing away stuff (mainly packing materials). At 23h30 I was at last finished. Last chore: the bin was rather full, so off to the underground container outside. And if there's some higher being, it doesn't want my old computer stuff tidied up. Next to the bin I found this:
Memo Systems - I remember them. Applied for a job once at one of their other branches. One of the few times I was turned down. In retrospect a good thing, they went bankrupt a few months later. So, according to the sticker a P200 with 32MB RAM, 1MB PCI VGA and 1.2GB HDD. Let's take a look.
Ugh, PC Chips - looks like an M537 with "VXPro+" i.e. Via VPX chipset. Motherboard aside this must be one of the worst assembled systems I have come across - mismatched screws, screws with narrow thread used on HDDs and expansion brackets, FDD and original HDD only screwed in on one side, mismatched SIMMs (despite still having the original 32MB). And that "Pentium 200"...
So, what else is in there?
Reasonable ISA sound card, decent 4MB Virge (not the original 1MB PCI VGA obviously). But there was one more card:
Woohoo! VideoLogic Apocalypse 3Dx with PowerVR PCX-2. Now that is a great way to finish off an evening 😀
Whoa 😮
Sometimes even in a "trash" you find treasures 😁

Lucky at last! There was also what would have been a nice little monitor - 15" AOC. Unfortunately the cable was cut and it was dumped screen-down hard on the concrete 🙁
Wow that's a great find with the PowerVR card. Even the case isn't bad looking.
Selling 6x86 PR200s as Pentium 200s appears to have been commonplace in the day..
Wow! PCX2 card for free! Crazy! Been looking for one for a while now - preferably Matrox, though ..
If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

Probably, that was what Cyrix hoped for ..?
