What ? Do "ISA" graphics cards exist aswell ??? I thought the graphics cards started from VLB on

Of course, before VLB was ISA and therefore there are many ISA graphics cards in the wild 😀 You'll want an ISA VGA card, there are plenty on eBay, some for as low as 20 - 25 EUR (which is still quite high in my opinion) if you search for ISA VGA

Phil benchmarked a bunch of ISA and VLB cards on a 486 and some of them even came close to VLB performance: 14 ISA and VLB graphics cards on a 486DX2 66

I recently purchased some S3 VLB cards for my 486 and going price was around 25-35 EUR, I certainly wouldn't pay 100+ EUR for such a thing, better to wait for the right item to come up for sale
