I cannot say for certain ..but ..my general impression is yes ..
There is certainly less of a load on the psu ...
the TFT draws less current than a plasma screen...as does the hard drive which is now a CF card..
There is a slight extra load now from the audio amp ...and the vga splitter ..but this doesnt even come close to what the plasma screen and HD drew..
I leave the rear ISA panel cover off ,,though this could maybe be re-fitted at minimal heat cost ..and of course the psu still has its own fan.
Only time will tell if there will be heat issues ..but I cross my fingers and hope..
😁

Have you, by any chance, modded / changed / dabbled in Toshiba T3200 as well? If so, how close are the insides to T3200SX? Enough to reuse, say, power supply or memory banks?

Toshiba T3200SXC (and probably T3200SX) actually can take up to 16 MB RAM.
I used this link to modify 4 MB SIMMs to be used in T3200SXC: https://forum.classic-computing.de/forum/inde … mb-simm-module/
I now have 13 MB RAM = 1+1+1+1+1+4+4 MB. ferrytale from that forum got a total of 16 MB to work (386SX limit), I don't have that many 4MB SIMMs, but I believe him.

My modified 4MB SIMMs look like this (in case image not visible: SIMM pin 19 wired to pin 24, then pin 19 isolated from memory socket):
fetch.php?cache=&media=4mb_simm_mod.jpg
This mod worked for me, I hope it helps others also! Be careful when modifyting old memory PCBs, pin 24 may fall off because it's not connected on 4MB SIMMs.

If you can find 16MB SIMMs, they may or may not work in T3200SXC. Pin19 / A10 is grounded on the mainboard side, pin 24 / A11 is used as A10 on the mainboard.
