I got a Zenith Data Systems Z-Note 325Lc last week and the original hardware (HDD and FDD) weren't working at all and I did some digging and found out the battery leaked and caused a bit of corrosion on the board.

Currently, I installed a 1.44GB HDD and wrote a hard drive image to the drive from my MacBook Air M1 (used 86Box) with EZ-Drive at first, but if I want to copy files to the HDD from my MacBook, I would have to keep it as a regular drive without DDO at all.

Sadly, the original Teac FD-05HF was totally gone and wouldn't seek or do anything and the replacement FD-05HG doesn't like 1.44MB diskettes for some reason and I think it's a capacitor problem, but I'm not 100% certain.

The display would work fine for a moment and it would turn white as a ghost (ordered caps for it), so I'm using my Dell flat screen monitor for a while until I get the display recapped.

I even thought about using XUBDisk on one partition of the hard drive and the rest for the OS, but it hasn't been successful yet. Any advice on how I can get the system to cooperate? The BIOS lacks LBA, but it has AAUI, a 2400 baud modem with a 32-PLCC socket for a ROM (I don't have the parts to read it or make one for the XT-IDE Universal BIOS), and uses a TFT Active Matrix display.
