Ye olde Ultimate 486 Benchmark would be a good place to look, the 5x86 is involved there, since it's technically a faster 486. Consistently near the top of the pile, one of the best CPUs to have graced socket 3.

90s PC: IBM 6x86 MX PR 300. TNT2 M64.
Boring modern PC: i7-12700, RX 7800XT.
Fixer upper project: NEC Powermate 486SX/25

I recently scored a 120gp.

Might play with it at some point. Should be able to run it at 100gp settings?

Cyrix 5x86 100GP here.
Motherboard Aquarius MB4DUV (UMC UM8496/8498)
32MB fastpage 60ns
256kB cache
Diamond Stealth Trio32 VLB
Quantum Bigfoot 4,3GB

Ms Dos 7.1 (from Windows 98SE)
Some Cyrix program to enable hidden switches

Ran Phil's dosbench suite.
Pc player 320x240: 13,1 fps
Doom 640x480: 2126 realtics
Quake 320x240: 10.0 fps
Speedsys CPU : 52,24, ram 34,48MB/s

This particular motherboard isn't the fastest around, but it gives you another comparison.

Stuck at 10MHz...

Hi! yes, i try to read, but is too much info... i want just a fast compare to other cyrix, with same parameters. I tried to read the pdf, but i feel lost with what parameters he use with doom, quake, because i get very different results

Hi!!! thanks for testing

One question, the Quake benchmark is with fullscreen or the one from chris pack that have a small screen. Because if is second, i get 13.6 fps

If this one i get 13.6

My Quake score is from the PCL DOSBENCH suite, and has the status bar at the bottom same as your screenshot.

thanks! i get curious about overclock the 5x86 to 120mhz like you did, sadly i need to disable L2 cache to be stable, but at 120mhz even without L2 , i get this results

3DBench 1.0c 100.7fps
Chris's 3D Bench 100.6 pts (60.4fps)
PC Player Benchmark 22.0fps
Quake Shareware 320x200 16.6fps

Speedsys 67.25
Doom 2134/1425 = 52.4fps
