Hi folks,

I have the motherboard in the subject with an NEC V20 and an 8087-1. I took out 18 4164 and loaded the mobo with 41256-12. All RAMs are the same now. I set the dip switches as per the manual but cannot get 1024k RAM counted at start-up.
My mobo looks like this: https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/auva-c … mputer-txm-8-10, the only difference is that I don't have a BASIC IC (5000027 on the picture). The rest of the RAM configurations are working, ie I can boot the mobo with 256, 448, and 640k but by setting the dip switch to 1024k, the mobo boots with only 640k. I tested the RAM and mixed the old ones with the new ones and it works fine, with no errors.

Any ideas on what might be stopping me from reaching RAM nirvana?
