What's not to like about a Dreamcast, first Xbox and a Playstation2 in the collection, if one have access to a 14/18 inch CRT tv.

HOO BOY. I spent WAY too much on these items, so my only solace is to tell everyone about it. (all images are seller images)

got 2 of these - p-pro overdrives. new in box.

They get put into this daughter card:

and then the daughter card goes into this motherboard

And if I get bored of Pentium pro chips, I can always run the pedestrian socket 7 chips:

That's some ultra AT SMP-ing done right. That is asking some V2 SLI combo to pair with this.
And full speed L2 cache on a PII, big plus.

Woo... is this one of those "I won't tell anybody that I won the lottery but there will be signs" memes? 🤣

I never really went looking but I am surprised that was even an option, Pentium vs PPro. Unless they were just trying to sell it to those "We validated it for X architecture so we're not going to run it on Y" types of places.

Forgot about this board I got yesterday as I was busy restoring the 360 I got the same day.

2 euros, guess it was worth it. Came with a copper bottomed ASUS OEM cooler.

Won an auction for this Pentium-II dual processor set for 25,10€ plus shipping. It was listed as untested, but it seems to work. Only the single sided 256MB RAM stick seems a bit suspicious. Weird things happen when that one is inserted. CPU retention brackets and rear IO shield were not included.

- Asus P2L97-DS 1.03
- Two Pentium II 233 MHz processors
- 2x 256MB double sided PC133 SDRAM
- 128MB PC133 SDRAM
- And 256MB PC133 SDRAM that I suspect is broken or somehow incompatible

Pretty sweet deal, I think. I've never owned a P-II setup before, so it's nice to have one.

Got this GTS 8600, 256MB, PCIe today.
I just love these passively cooled Graphics Cards with fancy coolers.
Always used passively cooled cards when possible.

Looking now for a "Sapphire AMD HD7750 Ultimate" or a "ASUS ENGT240 SILENT DI 1GD3" 😉

Amiga 500. Very yellowed. Power cord has been chewed by some rodent, and wires with 230V are exposed, so that will have to be replaced. I've never even seen an Amiga before, so it will be interesting to explore this.
Other than yellowing, it seems to be in pretty decent shape, and the seller said they had tested disk drive and all the ports.

A sweet deal indeed! I have good memories of the P2L97-DS, was the basis of my first self-built system which I ran for a few years with dual Celeron 533s on slotkets, and a V5 5500 AGP, with Seagate Cheetahs. Can't recall how much RAM, but would have been at least 512MB. Got me through a good chunk of my uni days, aside from playing a bit of UT on it. Enjoy the setup!

You can put up to 1GB of single-sided RAM on this board, I also had no success with double-sided sticks on mine.

Searching a Nexgen Nx586 with FPU, PM me if you have one. I have some Athlon MP systems and cookies.

That's probably exactly what I'd want to do with one, dual cellys on slotkets, though I would have to pass on the V5, unless I got a screaming good deal, I just don't see me paying the inflated prices these days. Marie Antoinette voice: "It may have a Geforce 2"

I have a Roland SC-55 but having a waveblaster version of it was too cool of an idea. Got this SBC-55! Can't wait til it arrives.
