Just got a PC for free...nothing special, but it's got a nice case and a couple of parts (black ide dvd writer etc.) I can use for a different system I'm building right now.

Specs (what was in the machine):
Pentium 4 2.8GHz 800FSB
3x256MB DDR400
120GB IDE HDD
DVD-RW IDE (Pioneer)
Radeon 9200 128MB AGP (office junk)
And a really silent So478 cooler

Wow very nice video cards!

Not much happening with me at the moment as my man cave is more or less complete.

But these IDE to SATA adapters finally arrived. What's good about them is that they are for 2 SATA devices. Most other ones have on port for SATA to IDE and the other one for IDE to SATA.

Hooked up a SATA DVD drive and HDD and works beautifully.

...intriguing - will they work in a Win9x environment?

Of course!

Maybe it took a lot of time, but iam back on vogons!

I havent much money for now and i have already a lot of vintage computer stuff. So i need to have it to reduce the buying.. But iam not sitting still. Iam already going further to look on secondhand sites hoping to find new parts..

Now iam waiting of this.. My englisch is maybe a little bit terrible, because in the time i was gone i had to move to a new house.. We have bought one instead of rent it..

I have to waiting when i have got more money to buy new thing..

Iam starting off with these nice findings:

$%28KGrHqV,!qMFC9TFUZT1BRBUU8Ulw!~~60_3.JPG

Its an IWILL interface card VLB.. Its looks very nice because its a very rare one i guess.. It has FDC (floppy controller) (IDE controller) And SCSI (2) on the same card!

And i have got bought an second roland MCB-1 add-on box for my roland LAPC sound card.. I lost the first one... But i think its in the box with other computer stuff i guess.

rescued all this junk today

already tried one of pc-chips with a cyrix pr166 and worked perfectly, too bad the voodoo rush does not fit on them, perhaps on the ppro, need to get a ppro overdrive now.

the solo pentium pro board is a QDI commander, brand new with box and everything. The dual is a Tyan 1662

Nice haul!

Always wanted a dual Pentium Pro rig, but I'm not sure what I'd actually do with it.

Diamond speedstar 1MB VGA Tseng Labs.. Nice one for my 386 build!

I have a chance to buy a ET4000 based card .
Orchid pro designer 2 , do you think it worth it? I don't know much about the chipset orther than it is superior to some Trident or Cirrus Logic.
