Here is a photo of it in use. the video and sound it amazing for it being 36 years old. But the photo does ot little good, can't really take a good photo of a crt from a suckphone.

That is awesome! I was just gathering all my LD's up, figuring I'd start playing the childrens LD's I have, for my kids. The gas laser is supposedly better, but more expensive to reproduce than the more common version almost everything else has. Congrats!

Its in lovely condition. Just awaiting a multi adaptor to arrive that can supply 14v. From the sellers photos it appears to have its original Dell Dos 6.21 and Windows 3.1 build intact 😀

While dealing with a small bout of insomnia last night, I ended up buying two computers on eBay.

The first: is a Netpliance i-Opener. A socket 7 "Win Chip C6" based mini-PC. scored an essentially "new in open box" unit for $35 shipped. This is essentially a tinker-around box... I have no real hard plans for this machine.

Secondly: A Compaq ProLinea 4/66. Appears to have Tseng VGA onboard, as well as an Oak ISA VGA card. This will likely become my primary DOS gaming box, and focus on my Tualatin for windows gaming.

Although, these two really seem to complete my acquisitions. I have spent the last few months acquiring every ISA and PCI card that I could, as well as a good number of motherboards and computers.. Once I make some decisions on cards, I think a mass exodus of hardware may be in order.. except for a few rarities and spares of course.

Bought one of these.... 40mb SCSI drive. The model that Apple used in their Performa LC's or similair.
It's only 3500rpm and it is not fast. The good part, is that I can now build my 386sx33 with SCSI HDD and CDrom.
I was kind of lucky on this, as these drives are near impossible to find locally.
Price was not bad eighter. 14,75 US Dollars, including shipping and the seller promised to pack extremely well.
Looking forward to build a 386-SCSI system. 😜

Not seller picture, I googled it and found one random picture.

Love the case! The rest isn't to bad either 😀 The optical drives are classics and I like those HDD trays.

Nice case.... Not too new looking and not too old looking. Sweet late-90's era kind of design.
To me, that case screams "hook me up with as many different disk drives as possible".
You know. 5,25 inch, zip, jazz and so on.

Mine barely manages to run at 550MHz at 2.4V.... ATZ... Please stop spreading this "Legend"...

I have two of those and both do 600MHz - one does 600 at 2.1v, the other needs 2.4 and is not fully stable. They are both perfectly stable at 550Mhz / 1.85v however.

Wow, that has to be a pricing mistake... I remember installing one of these (or maybe it was a 5110?) in a high end Dual Slot 1 CAD machine back when I worked at a computer store around 1997-2001time.. But, I jumped on one just for the "haha"s.
